Bonjour and welcome to the MLM Trigger, I am your host Corine Arnaud and this PODCAST is to help you LEVERAGE Your Network Marketing Skills using the internet to grow your MLM downline.

We are going to dive into [How To Use Your Competition To Your Best Advantage] and we'll talk about your core MARKET then your SUBMARKET and your main NICHE and most importantly you need to DIFFERENTIATE yourself.

We are going to go deeper into the Red and Blue Oceans and why fitting into the ecosystem MATTERS.

So my first question is: How can you tell when a Red Ocean is ripe to be picked? Our MLM Industry is Ripe Red Ocean — yes MLM industry has been around for a very long time and it's important that you understand how to choose an ocean that is red.

How can YOU position yourself in that ocean for success? The Red Ocean is your market but NOT all oceans are red and NOT all red oceans are ready to become a blue ocean.

Let’s talk about the STRATEGY of the RED OCEAN. Let’s see WHY it matters. In order for you to be successful in your business you need to understand the fundamental of been in the right Red Ocean MARKET: Yes you need to start in the RED OCEAN with a lot of competitions…

You’ll discover the #1 biggest reason you see that people DON’T have a successful business. It has nothing to do with the: Sales Message — Offer — Traffic

Let me tell you a story to illustrate my point. I remember this man I knew who was making loads of money in selling tee shirt. He was showing how much he was making selling simple tee-shirt. However, the tee shirt were NOT that impressive. He wasn’t an amazing sales person… BUT he was making a lot of money because of WHAT he was in. The market of selling Tee-shirt is a huge and is a red ocean. Don't forget that everyone wears tee-shirt. He was in the right Red Ocean MARKET

On the other hand. I was trained to make amazing of the kind garments high-end detailed clothing, incredibly well made, elegant… BUT we hardly made any money because of the MARKET we were in. WHAT was the problem: Not the sales message - Not the offer - Not the traffic. It was WHAT we were in. Nothing else because the market wasn't a Red Ocean Market. If you aren’t making money, the problem is often, NOT that you don’t have an amazing offer –- it’s that you’re literally in the wrong market.

I learned from my mistake and whenever I start a project, I make a checklist to go through to be sure that what I am creating is going to sell.

Now, before you even start crafting your sales message, you need to think about positioning. It’s all about the WHO. So you have to dive deep into the WHO. WHO do you want to serve before you create a sales message. You want to BE UNIQUE in your message. Why? Because there are so many MLMer’s selling the exact same products as you.

So before you even decide to start creating anything. The question you need to ask yourself: Where do you fit in the ecosystem of all the markets that are out there? This is super crucial but a lot of people don’t ask this before they jump in and decide WHAT to sell and that’s a HUGE mistake.

The first thing you want to do is identify a Red Ocean that’s ripe and ready to be a Blue Ocean. Because NOT ALL markets are created equal.

Why, because you remember my story of the magnificent one of the kind garments I was selling. A few people were buying them because I was in the wrong MARKET — NOT a ripe RED OCEAN market and my Red Ocean was TINY. The likelihood of being successful was so small, I would literally had to capture 100% of my market for my business to be successful. It was a market? Yeah, but it was so so so tiny, you don’t want go there.

Start Leveraging THE CARDS in your favor. The few things that you need to look for when entering a market, is a place of security. You need to go after a market that is lucrative. Remember, the tee-shirt guy I told you about? He was someone who was NOT a good creator, NOT amazing at creating offers, but just good enough. He chose a good market to come out of, which meant he made a lot of money.

It’s more about picking the ripe market than anything else. Let me ask you: What do you look for when picking a ripe Ocean? The timing MATTERS when it comes to markets. Often when a big company explodes, This business was in the right place at the right time and had all of the things in place to take advantage of something that people saw that no one else was in.

Markets are living and breathing things. Don’t be surprised if your offer doesn’t work, if you’ve chosen a market that’s contracting instead of expanding. There are specific signs you need to look for to find a market that is safe to enter. We are going to go a little deeper in the next episode. I want you to understand what I’m talking about when I say that. I didn’t understand any of this market positioning when I first started out with my fashion business. And one of the reasons why everything failed was because I was fighting over the tiny RED OCEAN market because I didn’t know my position in the market.

This is HOW it works: Understanding why positioning and picking a ripe ocean matters so much. In order to differentiate yourself and earn an exclusive NICHE of True Fans who will purchase anything and everything you produce, you need to understand YOUR positioning in the ripe ocean.

Thank you so very much for tuning in. Next week's episode is all about the power of questions to position yourself in the Ripe Red Ocean.
