STORY WEEK with [Trey Lewellen] What can you learn from this story and how you can model it to improve your business.

Bonjour and welcome to the MLM Trigger, I am your host Corine Arnaud and this PODCAST is to help you LEVERAGE Your Network Marketing Skills using the internet to grow your MLM downline.

Our story of the week is about "How To Find Your Audience That Lift Your Game" What you’re about to hear is NOT theory, but actually a proven and working strategy!

You’ll find the following roadmap to be profound, realistic, doable, and repeatable. You won't have to possess any tactics, or superpowers, nor will you need to be educated in any field. Before starting I want to be extremely clear with understanding that having a huge following of friends on Social Media does not mean that they are your IDEAL CUSTOMER AVATAR. Trey started with no connections, no emails and ZERO money.

The following is how he attracted his AVATAR and the roadmap to his success with his online business.

Step #1: Niche Selection - If he is going to build a business, he should mold it around what he loves. Those who love what they do never have to work another day in their lives. Which brings him to picking out a niche that he absolutely enjoy. He typically will keep all his ideas on one big notepad. This will help him pull out the niche he wants to build a business around. Consider going deep into finding your niches.

Step #2: Online Research - Now that he had his niche selected, next will be researching online. He will go online to Magazines.com and flood himself with magazines. The ones that are displayed to show 100% of the cover are the most popular and sell the best. Then the next most popular magazine will show around 60%, and so on. He will then pull out all the magazines he can find that talk about his niche. 

He will take the day to look through the magazines and familiarize himself with the articles what language they are using to talk to their audience and the common buzzwords. Then he called the magazine number and ask if he could purchase the back issues for the last 12 months. Most will say yes, and probably get the back issues for FREE. if he let them know that in the near future he might be looking to place an ad in their magazine and wanted to make sure it’s a good fit! 

Next, he would find all the magazines that work parallel with his selected niche. For instance, juicing, the parallel magazines could be magazines about cleansing, diet, exercises, and so on and so forth. You will also write these magazine phone numbers down. Before we move forward, when you have your niche you will find you avatar, don't forget all your friend and family members are not your niche, so this is a very detailed process that you need to focus on. Most people are living inside someone else’s thinking so NICHE DOWN. 

Step #3: The Foundation - Today’s job is to get everything out of the magazines and blow it up on your wall. He printed out each individual ad and glue it to a large sheet of paper, allowing himself to see what ads start to repeat themselves and show up in other magazines. For each magazine, he has a separate large sheet of paper, that fit all the ads on it and did the same with each companies. As he started to review the back issues and go through the same process. He only kept the ads that are running multiple times throughout the prior 12 months. 

Step #4: The Journey — He is going to acquire free products and use those products to gain 30,000+ FREE leads email addresses. The biggest ASSET you have in your business is your email list 

Step #5: Donations – The first thing he did was to write down all the phone numbers from the collage of product ads that are on his wall. From the ads, he knew which products they are trying to promote and most likely OWN INVENTORY for. Then he called the numbers and asked for the marketing department. Here is why they will want to donate to him. He is going to explain to them that he will be growing an email list of 10,000 to 30,000+ depending on how many other companies get involved in the project. By their donation, they’ll receive the new leads for FREE! At ZERO cost to them, all they need to do is gift the product. Donations on product are easier to come by that you might think, you just have to show the donator the advantage of doing so. The donation retail amount need to be around $300 to $700 because this price range generate to the most leads. 

Calling Script – Hello, I saw you were advertising in and wanted to reach out and let you know we are doing a FREE GIVEAWAY in the next two weeks and thought your would make a great fit for the giveaway! The best part—when you donate, you’ll receive all the names and email addresses we collect during the giveaway. Would you like to donate? 

Step #6: Joint Venture – He will have made some really nice contacts with the advertisers asking for donations. When calling them, he made a point to discuss their email list size. He will let them know that in the next week he is going to be giving out a massive $300 to $700 giveaway. There is NO COST to enter the give-away, all he asked was that they EMAIL THEIR LIST about it. The WIN-WIN here will be that when they email the giveaway, they will receive in RETURN ALL THE LEADS GENERATED from all the other companies involved! 

This is where it really starts to become fun. Once he had ONE company on board, he would go back to the companies who previously said no and let them know about the other companies who are now participating. As the companies keep stacking on one another. he created LEVERAGE as he continued to make phone calls. The goal here is to get as many companies on board as possible – the bigger the total number of subscribers on the lists, the more FREE leads that’ll be generated. 

Step #7: The Opt-in Funnel - Collects the lead. He will need to create a page that collects the lead. The industry term for this is an “opt-in page. He will want this page to be extremely basic, with just a HEADLINE of what they’ll be RECEIVING if they WIN. The VALUE of the giveaway, HOW to ENTER, the DATE on which the giveaway ENDS… and the terms needed. 

He strives for an 80 to 90% opt-in ratio for every 100 people who click for the giveaway. He like to capture 90 email addresses. Each company email their email list and he collected 30,000 email addresses in 30 days 

Step #8: Monetize – He will need to create a thank-you pages that comes directly after the opt-in with just a HEADLINE and a CONFIRMATION of what the client just became a part of. He went on to leverage this list of 30,000 emails addresses to make 6 figures income, SELLING his products and other people products.

Trey STORY is a great lesson to learn from using the power of choosing the right AVATAR to take your business to the next level. As you can see, from the beginning on to now, you don’t have to possess any tactics, or superpowers, or be educated in any field to create a business out of thin air. Many entrepreneurs when first start think they have to spend money, work long hours, and have an extremely complicated system to make a dime. 

In fact, he has proven the exact opposite, that a simple system can be as effective if not more so for making an income for yourself. The big key here is to pick one chapter and stick to it, burn the ships as they say. Do it until completion. No other chapter will be easier, they all come with their own challenges. Lastly, no matter what anyone says, money doesn’t come easy—if it did, everyone would have it!
