Our story of the week is about "Are You Capable of Catching The Big Break" Akbar who was homeless and suffered from a crippling anxiety disorder. He had no money, he didn't even have a roof over his head.
Here’s the thing, as an entrepreneur and an artist, his mind was canvas. He needed to declutter and have a talk with himself, inspired himself, and told himself.
That all that stuff...didn’t matter. This happened to people at some point in life, but this was what built character. He had two choices: to curl up and accept failure OR to go make it happened. He knew that everything he needed was within. He knew it was scientifically impossible to fail if he didn't give up and keep going in the right direction.
He read some inspirational stories of top leaders who’ve all been at the bottom and who failed but overcame it. He knew that this was his test to prove that he was worthy, that he could make a difference in the world and he will not let this define him.
He made a list of his skills, his mindset, his principles of persuasion, psychology and business strategy. He started documenting this journey and Identified who could benefit from his skills. Realizing that this whole game is nothing more than problem and solution. He just needed to go find the people who had that problem so he could provide the solution for.
He targeted marketers and entrepreneurs. He identified which audience will benefit the most from his skills. It didn’t matter what level he was on, there is always someone a level lower who could benefit. These are the people who might say things like this: Oh, I don’t know how to make a good funnel... how to write good copy… what strategies I should use to scale my business...
So he knew his skills. He figured out the problem he was going to solve. Now, he needed to get a list of ideal customers organically because he did not have money. He searched for entrepreneurs on Facebook and find the best groups. No matter what industry you’re in, people have problems and FB Groups for that particular niche is very profitable. People ask questions… he got answer for them, and gave them valuable responses.
Participated in groups to sharpen his tools and posted in 3 groups each day and answered questions in different groups for two hours a day just answering questions in detail. Responded to questions and posted valuable comments.
He continued documenting this journey. More traffic was coming to his FB page from organic marketing. So now people came to his profile and saw credibility and authority. Up until now, he had just been answering questions, which was good... but there was another way he could draw even more attention. Especially from two value posts. He didn't sell anything yet, just gave pure value. His plan was to get a ton of organic business, then he would make those first sales. He decided to start with coaching because it required the least amount of setup and was very lucrative.
He created the coaching system is a simple opt-in page with an authority picture and a one-liner that resonated perfectly with his audience. Here was the structure for a conversation he would have with people to close them as clients. Focussing on: What do people lack or want? “How can I help your business grow?” “Why don’t you show me your funnel?”
He repeated the process over and over to keep growing his organic niche market. Things were starting to snowball. The words were getting out there about his service. He positioned himself as one of the few people out there who gave the best value. And because he did that he grow into new marketing avenues—podcasts, guest posts, guest Lives, and speaking engagements.
Now that he got clients in a proven system, he automated his coaching program and created a webinar. He repeated the same thing over and over and over, and created a course. He launched the course on "How to have successful marketing funnels for his niche audience."
And called it The BLUEPRINT! Zero to Hero! Then he did FB Live, breaking down everything he did over the last few weeks.
