STORY WEEK with [Pat Rigsby] What can you learn from this story and how can model it to improve your business.
Bonjour and welcome to the MLM Trigger, I am your host Corine Arnaud and this PODCAST is to help you LEVERAGE Your Network Marketing Skills using the internet to grow your MLM downline.
Our story of the week is about Pat' first day in this journey was quite possibly the most important one. It’s about making the decision to go from “I could” to “I will.” The foundation of getting back on his feet with his inner belief that he could do it, was by simply executing his plan. Every success starts with that decision. So he committed to the process, to focus on simply moving forward every day.
Pat wanted to build and operate a successful health and fitness business and coaching others to do the same. With that in mind, he documented his strengths. Business Strategy — Coaching — Marketing — Sales — Team Development. Now that he was confident that he could build a solid business foundation and have something valuable to offer the market, he identified the target market he wanted to serve.
He joined a few FB Groups and started diving deep into research to discover what the pain points his target market was experiencing. He would be helping health and fitness professionals with their strategy, marketing, and sales through offering coaching solutions. Since he didn’t have a reputation or a library of social proof to create trust, he needed to remove the risk for his clients. He created an irresistible offer and offered a free coaching call where he’d talk about bringing opportunities in their business with no strings attached.
At the end of the call he offered two options:
Option 1— We work together for the next six months and you’ll only pay me based on the delivery of the results I promised.
Option 2— We work together for the next six months and I guarantee that you will add $6,000 to your monthly recurring revenue. Your investment is just $2,000 per month...and if you don’t increase your recurring revenue, I’ll refund every penny.
The logic was simple. He first delivered results in advance with the free call and then made his two options zero-risk. He had his irresistible offers and let the prospective client choose between the 2 options. He created a sales-letter video funnel on how he could help his target market... at no cost to them and he scheduled 15–20 calls/day. His focus was to deliver results during the calls with his prospects and converting them into clients for one of his two offers.
With the money he collected from the initial sales, he started some small-scale advertising, to keep driving prospects to the free coaching call and boosting the FB Live videos that got him some tractions. Then he built a lead magnet that would be a high-value asset by created a book. He outlined the three biggest problems his clients have and the three things to solve each of those problems. Then he created each chapter title for his book.
Chapter 1: The 3 Problems Fitness Business Owners Face
Chapter 2: Identifying A Target Market
Chapter 3: Developing A Predictable Plan To Consistently Generate Leads
Chapter 4: Growing From The Inside Out
Chapter 5: Developing A Great Offer
Chapter 6: Following Up Consistently
Chapter 7: Hiring And Developing A Team
Chapter 8: Building Your Role Around Your Strengths
Chapter 9: Finding Leverage Points Within The Business
Chapter 10: Putting It All Together
He took each chapter and list out three to five talking points and recorded each chapters. Now that things took shape, he got a strong foundation and some clients. He generated some cash flow, and some additional revenue based on production. Then he created a marketing asset that built his huge email list and positioned himself as an expert . He promoted the free copy of his book with a funnel along with the free coaching call.
While things were going well, he leveraged the coaching model, and kept growing his audience to 5000 people and launched a mastermind group. He worked with influencers and asked them to be a guest on his podcasts to reach his target market in different ways. Beyond that, he created a few done-for-you funnels for his clients to share with them as an incentive and leverage his business by repeated the process over and over.
Pat is an 7 figures business coach who has built over 25 businesses in the fitness industry, with 7 becoming million dollar ventures. He’s coaching fitness & health entrepreneurs who want to build their own Ideal Business.
Thank you so very much for tuning in for our story of the week.
