STORY WEEK with [Peng Joon] What can you learn from this story and how can model it to improve your business.
Bonjour and welcome to the MLM Trigger, I am your host Corine Arnaud and this PODCAST is to help you LEVERAGE Your Network Marketing Skills using the internet to grow your MLM downline.
Our story of the week is about what did Peng learn losing it all... and what he did to bounce back, not to get sympathy, but as a declaration to himself and the rest of the world.
Peng, objective was to get clarity on his goal of doing LIVE EVENT and generate $150,000 in sales within a month. He began with the end in mind and listed the numbers in order to hit his goal. His strategy to do Live Event and to build a webinar + selling his products.
He had to sell 50 Live Event tickets @ $1,000 each to make $50,000 and additional $100,000 in back-end sales. To sell 50 Live Event tickets, he needed 500 people showing up for his webinar for that to happen.
He built for his target audience: A webinar funnel with a registration page. A thank-you page. The live and replay page.
He established the three main takeaways they will get by attending the webinar and shoot simple thank-you page of the webinar registration. He knew how to help entrepreneurs speak, inspire, and close through sales videos, webinars, and Live Events.
So he came up with something like this— Free Webinar Training Reveals... How to Launch, Sell Out, AND Close High-Ticket Products & Services Without Spending More of Your Money.
He went to FB Groups and search for live events, webinars, speaking engagements and commented to help as many people as he could. Just genuinely helping people so they would check out his profile and he would get targeted free traffic to his webinar. Most people run ads just based on interest, but he wanted to narrow it down rather than just targeting 32 million people who are interested in, say like— Marketing.
He created layer audience which was based on three levels:
People who like the INTEREST, who must match one of the following PROFESSIONS, who must like one of the following EXPERT LEADERS in his industry.
He created a hook with stories on what he learned losing it all and what he did to bounce back.
The HOOK is the thing that stops them in their tracks and gets their attention.
He shoot the videos that give value based on different angles—origin story, opportunity, insecurities, pains and objections. Each of these videos had a CTA— call to action to his webinar and to retarget his engaged audience later on.
He incorporated images that generated credibility and trust to build rapport… He made a list of every single objection his audience had about why they wouldn’t get involve. Example: I’m too young to do this. I’m too old to do this. I don’t have the time. I’m an introvert. Will this work for me if I’m in this industry? I don’t have the capital. How long before I see my returns?
He went to FB Groups continued engaging with his audience and taught them by answering objections, insecurities and excuses about his new opportunity… He did some Done-With-You and Done-For-You items to be included as part of his offer. He shoot all videos of the entire product-launch funnel for the webinar funnel to add values to those still on the fence.
200 registrants signed up for his Live Event. He shoot a video to all paid attendees on “1 Week To Event—How This Could Change Everything.” Note: Just because they paid doesn’t mean they will show up. So he needed to constantly reselling them that they made a great decision signing up.
He captured testimonials, the #1 asset to be used in future ads, marketing materials and retargeting his audience later on. He rinsed and repeated the process each day… meaning he did over and over again.
After Peng made his first million online through selling products in the computer game niche, he decided to teach others how to monetize their knowledge, passion and life experience, both online and offline. He built a following over a 1M entrepreneurs, spoken in over 20 countries around the world and has shared the stage with leaders like Sir Richard Branson, Tony Robbins, and Robert Kiyosaki.
Thank you so very much for tuning in for our story of the week.
