STORY WEEK with [Raoul Plickat.] What can you learn from this story and how can you improve your business.

Our story of the week is about Raoul, "WORK on the business instead of WORKING in it." What he had to do to start all over again. He listed 3 role models and wrote down what he admired them for. He said that It’s all about the person he wanted to become. In order to transform himself, he needed to have the habits of that future person. 

He defined his strengths, his vision and goals and asked himself these Question: What am I good at? What can I do better than others? Where can I help others to solve their problems with my strengths?

He ordered a couple of books to study the unique selling points to provide his potential clients with a lot of values so they would have the feeling that it’s exactly what they are looking for. He defined his purpose of what skills he had and how he could help others with his skills to make a positive impact. He wanted to help entrepreneur with his extraordinary skills in copywriting so they can sell more of their amazing products to the people who really need it and help them end their suffering. 

He asked himself those Key questions:

1. How can I differentiate myself?

2. Who else achieve something similar results in my target market? 

3. What did they do to become successful?

He found out that it’s about client acquisition. About 80% of the time should be spent on selling. So he focused on one industry to help with their pain points. He researched all the business meetings, lunches, and dinners in his local market as well as on LinkedIn to attend in the next weeks. He reviewed the biggest local potential clients’ websites, ads and contacted them with an offer to optimize their business for free in return for a testimonial. 

His goal was to get 5 testimonials and made a template for his case studies to use in the future. On LinkedIn, he researched for the owners and CEOs in his target market and engaged with them to market his offer. He created personal FB group to leverage his success with his audience and get credibility. He posted valuable contents and answer their questions and told them to request a custom review of their website for their services for free. He also did live presentations as well and gave them an irresistible offer— a zero-risk guarantee.

He documented everything into a content relationship manager so he had all the details for each customer in one place. Then automated the process with FB ads for each of his clients, buying more time. Cutting the learning curve and avoiding mistakes made already.

He wanted to WORK on the business instead of WORKING in it. In essence, DO MORE OF WHAT WORKS NOW! by repeating the process over and over again and be consistent.
