STORY WEEK with Rob Kosberg [His Signature Systems Was His Superpower] What can you learn from his story and how can you improve your results.

Our story of the week is about Rob Kosberg who had to start all over again…He didn't allow himself to become discouraged but rather focused on gratitude. He still had the most important things: his skills and perseverance. 

He contacted everyone he owed money to and ask that they give him a few months relief so he could focus on what needed to be done and pay them in full. Time to dig in… he decided exactly what he wanted to build for himself and his family. His greatest motivation was to succeed for them and others who were relying on him. 

He asked the most important Questions. 

1. What am I great at?

2. What do I enjoy doing?

3. What does the market want and need? 

He decided to work directly with people and engaged with them in the sales process and in delivering something awesome. So it could create a model that he could do for an extended period and build a business around. He also considered the skills that he had and succeeded in the past, which was to help people get media attention and use it to grow their businesses and authority. His target market will be business owners who are hungry to grow their business revenue and their authority in the marketplace. 

He identified the model to follow for his business and outline three specific areas. 

#1. Proposal: HIs offer to the market 

#2. Platform: where to find his clients 

#3. Process: how to bring them on as clients

The proposal, since he was going to directly engage with potential clients, he offered a high-ticket, $3,000 to $10,000 price range. The platform was social media. LinkedIn and also Facebook was where he could find business owners and connect with them personally. The process was to bring his clients to a consultation call where he offered values and an opportunity for people to take next steps. Now that he had the proposal, platform, and process mapped out. 

He created a lead magnet that focuses on the benefits of media and PR and how a business owner can use it to grow their business. He developed an irresistible offer and guarantee results for his clients to completely reverse the risk. He did a “FB live video each day” and offer some training and resources and end with offering his lead magnet. His 5 days routine was: Daily FB Live and personally messaging those who reach out for the lead magnet. Daily outreach on LinkedIn to business owners who were a good fit for his offer. Daily outreach on FB Groups that focus on business, media and PR.

He reach out and asked for feedback — “If you are a business owner, I would love some feedback from you. Get on TV and media for your business and ONLY pay when you are booked! I am trying to dial in my offer and was wondering if that is something business owners would be interested in? Thanks for the feedback!” 

His idea was to stir up interest and give him feedback as well as opportunities. He began to make 1 to 2 sales per day from his high-ticket offer and was getting feedbacks because his clients were experiencing quick amazing results and gave him referrals and testimonials. 

This is what he did with several of his client businesses growing them to millions in revenue. He helped them to scale their business and make it as fun and profitable as possible.
